PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Heavenly Father, You call us to be faithful disciples of the Lord. As we celebrate the Great Jubilee in the year 2000, fill us with the spirit of courage and generosity. Raise up worthy ministers for your altar - priests and deacons who are loving and gentle servants of the gospel. Give increase to all religious communities and lead their members to perfect charity. Unite us all more deeply in the fellowship we share in Christ and in the ministry of service. Help us to support each other in the vocation to which you have called us; And when you seek among us for priests, deacons, sisters, and brothers, help us to answer your call willingly. Grant this through Christ our Lord. AMEN Bishop J. Terry Steib, SVD

Oración Para Vocaciones Padre Celestial: Nos llamas a ser fieles discípulos del Señor. Para celebrar el Gran Jubileo del año 2000, Ilénanos con el espíritu de valor y generosidad. Dános dignos ministros para tu altar-sacerdotes y diáconos, que sean siervos amables y gentiles del Evangelio. Da crecimiento a todas las comunidades religiosas y guía a sus miembros a una perfecta caridad. Unenos a todos más profundamente en la hermandad que compartimos en Cristo, y en el ministerio de servicio. Ayúndanos a apoyarnos unos a otros en la vocación a que tu nos has llamado. Y cuando busques entre nosotros sacerdotes, diáconos, hermanas, y hermanos, ayúdanos a responder a tu llamado con buena voluntad. Concédenos esto por Cristo Nuestro Señor. Amén.
