EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

CHASTITY EDUCATION

We provide speakers to schools, churches and other groups to promote the virtue of chastity and abstinence from sexual activity outside of marriage.  We strive to help young people realize that they are capable of sexual purity and self-control and that chastity can protect them from many problems and abuses of their sexuality.  By understanding and practicing the virtue of chastity, young people are free to discover the true meaning of love and develop real friendships based on mutual respect and honest communication.

FERTILITY APPRECIATION

Human fertility is presented as a powerful and precious gift from God.  Young people learn to respect and appreciate their emerging fertility as a special part of themselves that deserves to be cherished and protected.  By presenting fertility as a healthy and normal function of the human reproductive systems, it is easily understood and accepted instead of feared as a problem.  Young people recognize their capability of cooperating with God in the creation of a new human life and learn that this great privilege is to be used only in marriage.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER AND FATHER/SON PROGRAMS

Annual fertility appreciation and chastity programs for parents and their children to come together to learn about the beauty and wonder of God’s plan for growing up.  The physical changes of early adolescence in preparation for parenthood and the function of the human reproductive systems are presented with love and respect for the young people.  Reverence for God’s design of our sexuality and fertility is stressed and foundations are established for continued communication between parent and child.

NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING (NFP)

NFP classes begin each month to help couples recognize, understand and appreciate their combined fertility.  NFP is a way of loving each other more fully while respecting God’s purpose for the gift of human fertility and the sacredness of the marriage act.  NFP offers couples freedom from the problems of contraception and abortifacient chemicals while enabling them to achieve or postpone pregnancy naturally as they live in harmony with God’s design.  NFP fosters appreciation for every child conceived and encourages communication, fidelity and unselfishness in marriage.  To register for NFP classes, call the NFP Center for a class schedule or a brochure, or simply click the links located at the top of this page.

THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

Speakers and audiovisual programs to inform people about the sacredness of human life and the realities of abortion.  The contraceptive and abortion mentality so prevalent in our world today leads to the destruction of the human family.  We hold that every human life is precious and worthy of protection from the moment of conception to natural death as a special and unique creation of God.  We also serve as a resource center offering various information on the life issues.

While most of the services of the NFP Center are offered free of charge to any group, NFP classes and the Mother/Daughter and Father/Son Programs require that we charge a minimum amount.  Donations to the NFP Center are always gratefully accepted.
