Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center Directed Retreats
During a directed retreat each retreatant meets daily with a spiritual director to reflect on God’s presence and movement in their life as revealed through prayer, relationships and life experiences. The director listens to and encourages retreatants to give voice to their experience in prayer and to come to a deeper understanding of where God is leading them. Directed retreats are scripture based and follow the Ignatian method of reflecting, listening and responding. Except for celebration of the Eucharist retreatants spend their day in solitary meditation and other activities such as journaling or reading which are designed to deepen their awareness of God and their relationship with God. The retreat begins with dinner on the first day and concludes with Mass at 10:30am on the last day. Persons are welcome to make a partial retreat of at least three days. Arrangements for private directed retreats can be made throughout the year. Call Sister Eileen Fucito - 731-548-2500.
