Who are the instructors?
Instructors are clergy, religious and laity who have both
educational background and practical experience in
liturgical ministry. While we rely heavily on instructors
from our own diocese, we also have visiting instructors who
have special expertise in the course topics.
Where are the classes held?
Classes meet in parishes and schools throughout the
diocese. Specific sites are indicated on the course
schedule.
How do I register for classes?
There
are several ways and this needs to be done by the designated
deadline: you may register online on this website for any
course except Extraordinary Minister of Communion and Lector
training Level I. For these two you need pastor approval.
You may print out a registration form fill it out and take
it to your parish where your pastor must sign it and fax it
to our office @ 901 722-4723. Parishes are familiar with
this procedure and even have registration forms on hand @
the office. For all other courses follow instructions to
online registration, click on "Send Registration" down at
the lower left corner of the form one time after which you
should receive a confirmation. You may also mail your
printable registration to our office located @ 1325
Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38111.

Maybe
yes....Maybe no.....
Some
classes will have prerequisites, but others may be taken at

information about the class you are considering.
How can I purchase textbooks?

schedule. Textbooks are sols on site immediately prior to
the first meeting of each class. Efforts are made to keep
textbook prices to a minimum.
