Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting and financial integrity? We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Pledges Receivable Specialist to join our dedicated team and help ensure the smooth financial operations of our Diocese.

What You’ll Do:

As an integral part of our finance team, you will:
✅ Process invoices efficiently, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
✅ Manage vendor information, including tax identification details.
✅ Accurately enter and reconcile accounts payable transactions in the general ledger.
✅ Coordinate payments via checks and ACH transfers.
✅ Assist with financial reporting, audits, and special projects.
✅ Communicate with parishes and departments regarding payments and donations.
✅ Support the review of Bishop’s Appeal donations and mailing of monthly statements.
✅ Help with general office tasks, including mailroom and front desk assistance when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience: At least one year of accounting or financial record-keeping experience.
✔ Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Shelby Systems (or a willingness to learn).
✔ Detail-Oriented: Strong accuracy and analytical skills.
✔ Great Communicator: Professional and courteous communication with vendors, departments, and parish staff.
