The Catholic Diocese of Memphis is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant that will assist in both the Office of Communications and the Office of Development. This positions provides administrative secretarial support for the Department of Development and the Department of Communications and performs comprehensive diversified secretarial administrative duties. Responsibilities include maintaining confidential information related to the operations of the Development and Communications Offices and the Diocese. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will provide assistance to callers and visitors, and will assure that secretarial duties are done in a timely manner and maintain donor information in the Shelby System database.  The Administrative Assistant will also work on Communications platforms such as websites, social media, and Faith Magazine.


  • High school graduate or equivalent with three years of secretarial experience
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize and organize work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
