Today, Monday, November 2, the Catholic Church celebrates All Souls Day, known as the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed. Please take a moment to view the video from Bishop David P. Talley on All Souls Day by clicking on the video below.
Bishop Talley was Celebrant and Homilist at an outdoor Holy Mass this morning at our Historic Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd., with Bishop Emeritus J. Terry Steib and several Priests and Deacons from across our Diocese as Concelebrants.
On All Souls Day, our Catholic faithful gather together to pray for the deceased, especially for those Souls in Purgatory who are being prepared for Eternal Life in Heaven. To find other Holy Mass times within our Diocese on All Souls Day, please view Parish Bulletins, Social Media, and Websites.
