Many blessings and congratulations to lifelong St. Peter Catholic Church parishioner Laura Ozanne Robinson and Bishop David P. Talley for being honored last evening, Sunday, Nov. 5, with the “St. Martin de Porres Award” at the St. Peter Gala. The weekend long Triduum celebration (Nov. 3-5), led by Fr. Scott O’Brien, O.P., Rector, St. Martin de Porres National Shrine and Institute located at St. Peter, began with the Feast Day of St. Martin de Porres this past Friday with events all weekend, culminating to last evening’s award celebration and auction to help fund the training of Dominican Friars. Fr. John Dominic Sims, O.P., is the Pastor at St. Peter. Many thanks to all sponsors and volunteers for the Gala.
