Bryan Watson Named President of Fishers of Men Board of Directors
Fishers of Men is pleased to announce the election of Bryan Watson as President of its Board of Directors following the organization’s recent Board meeting.
Catholic Faith Journey
A devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and long-time leader within the Fishers of Men ministry, Bryan has faithfully served on the Fishers of Men Board of Directors for many years and facilitates the Fishers of Men parish group at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett. He has also worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support every Men’s Morning of Spirituality hosted by the Fishers of Men ministry, helping create meaningful opportunities for Catholic men to deepen their relationship with Christ.
Past President Thoughts
“We are grateful that Bryan has accepted this leadership role,” said Immediate Past President Timothy McNeive. “Catholic author Peter Kreeft once wrote that what the Catholic Church needs is not simply faith and goodwill, but the passionate, wholehearted gift of ourselves to God and neighbor. Bryan embodies that spirit of joyful discipleship, and I know he will lead Fishers of Men with humility, zeal, and a heart for serving others.”
Becoming Active Disciples
As Board President, Bryan will help guide the Fishers of Men ministry’s Vision and Mission of calling, equipping, and encouraging Catholic men to become active disciples of Jesus Christ through authentic friendship, prayer, and fellowship.
Deeper Relationship Forward
“I am honored to serve as President of the Fishers of Men Board,” said Bryan. “This ministry has had a profound impact on my own Catholic faith journey, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated parish leaders and volunteers to invite more men into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. My prayer is that together we continue building strong Catholic men who faithfully serve their families, parishes, and communities.”
