Due to the strong response received for nominations to the Catholic Diocese of Memphis High Schools Hall of Fame, the Selection Committee has extended the nomination deadline to Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
“We have been truly grateful for the nominations submitted to date,” said Mike Clary (MCHS ’73), Chair of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis High Schools Hall of Fame 2026 Selection Committee. “We look forward to continuing to review nominations very thoughtfully as we build toward our inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Class.”
Unifying as One
Established in March 2026, the Catholic Diocese of Memphis High Schools Hall of Fame brings together and builds upon the proud traditions of the Hall of Fame programs previously associated with:
- St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School
- Bishop Byrne High School
- Memphis Catholic High School
The unified Hall of Fame also recognizes the rich heritage of the schools that became part of Memphis Catholic High School, including:
- Catholic High School
- St. Thomas Academy
- St. Augustine High School
- Father Bertrand High School
- Sacred Heart for Girls
- Catholic High for Boys
Additionally, alumni of Immaculate Conception High School for Girls are included in the new Hall of Fame.
Through this unified effort, the Diocese seeks to honor the graduates, faculty, administrators, and supporters whose faith, leadership, and service have strengthened Catholic education across West Tennessee.
