Year 1 - Awareness

Our focus is on AWARENESS. We will introduce stewardship through monthly themes such as time, talent, treasure, prayer, service, creation, culture, vocation, and more. This first year is about planting seeds and inviting everyone to COME TO THE TABLE.

Grow at the Table

Year 2 - Formation

We shift toward FORMATION. With the basic understanding of stewardship in place, we will deepen our efforts through catechesis, workshops, retreats, and leader training. We will also elevate stories of witness across the diocese, inspiring others to GROW AT THE TABLE through learning, prayer, and community.

Serve at the Table

Year 3 - Engagement

We will emphasize ENGAGEMENT. Parishes will be encouraged to put stewardship into action with ministry fairs, volunteer initiatives, and increased opportunities for parishioner participation. This year is about helping people SERVE AT THE TABLE and respond in concrete ways.

Live at the Table

Year 4 - Integration

The focus turns to INTEGRATION. Stewardship language will become standard in homilies, bulletins, ministry formation, and leadership structures. The aim is to LIVE AT THE TABLE, making stewardship a core identity rather than a seasonal program.

Invite to the Table

Year 5 - Mission

Finally, we will be a time for MISSION AND RENEWAL. This year will renew our commitment to evangelization, hospitality, and spiritual growth—ensuring that we continue to INVITE OTHERS TO THE TABLE and keep stewardship alive for future generations.

Year 5

Stewardship is a way of life rooted in gratitude, expressed through our Time, Talent, and Treasure. In the Diocese of Memphis, it expands into prayer, service, hospitality, formation, culture, citizenship, vocation and creation that guide every part of life. At its heart, stewardship is our joyful “yes” to Christ—living generously, growing as disciples, and becoming fully alive in Him.
