Our Diocese continues its commitment to creating safe and prepared parish, school, and ministry communities.
Many of you may already know that Max Howard, Associate Director of Safety and Security, works closely with our parishes, schools, and ministries to strengthen safety and security initiatives throughout West Tennessee.
On Saturday, October 3, Max led a CPR Training Certification Training for parish and school staff members at the Catholic Diocese Chancery. Participants were enthusiastic about gaining life-saving skills and earning their CPR certification.
What does CPR mean?
Cardio – Refers to the heart
Pulmonary – Refers to the lungs
Resuscitation – The act of reviving someone from unconsciousness or apparent death.
This valuable training equips staff members with the knowledge and confidence to respond during medical emergencies and care for others when every second counts.
