Starting today, September 15, through October 15, our Diocese is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Hispanic community across our parishes, schools, and ministries.
There are 22 Spanish-speaking countries in the world and Spanish is the second most-spoken language in the world after Mandarín. English is the third most spoken.
Spanish-speaking countries are found in Europe, Central America, North America, South America and the Caribbean.
Stay tuned for more information on Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the next 30 days. All Glory to God!
