Join the St. Philip the Apostle Knights of Columbus, Council 14482, as they proudly present the Fayette County Cotton Festival’s 2026 Charity Car, Truck, and Cycle on Saturday, September 12, 8:00am-3:00pm, at the Historic Somerville Square.
The Charity show has been in existence since 2009. All proceeds go to three different Charities in the Somerville area:
• Fayette Cares, which was started by three Nuns from St. Phillip more than 40 years ago in a barn donated by a parishioner. This group supplies food and clothes, along with eight apartments, for homeless that they teach how to use a computer to look for a job and if they have children computers to do homework.
• Carl Perkins Institute, which cares for abused children with physical and mental issues. This group buys items like a toy to build a child’s confidence to open up to counselors. They are supported with money and buy “A Cuppy” which has toys in it and the youth pick out what toy they want.
• The Senior of Somerville, which buys food and other goods for Seniors in need.
