Organ Crawl at St. Peter's

When

August 1, 2026 - August 2, 2026
6:00 pm - 12:00 pm

Have you ever wondered how a pipe organ works? Can you tune it like a piano or a guitar? Where do all those different sounds come from? Do organists really play with their feet?

.

From brilliant trumpet fanfares at weddings to soft whispering chords during Communion, the pipe organ provides a wide range of musical sounds and is rightly called the “King of Instruments”.

.

A tour (“crawl”) of the historic 1923 Casavant organ at St. Peter Church will be led following 5 PM Mass on Saturday, August 1 and 11 AM Mass on Sunday, August 2. Opportunity to play and look inside the chambers will be included.
