Cultivating marriages is one of the most powerful ways to foster parish life, as John Paull II said in his Apostolic Exhortation Familiaris Consortio: “The future of humanity passes by the way of the family.” On Saturday, August 3, Bishop Talley will celebrate the annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Everyone is welcome.
At the Mass, married couples will renew their sacramental marriage vows, as they were called to in this vocation of holy marriage. Anniversaries are moments for couples to express gratitude for the years they have spent together, the challenges they have overcome, and the blessings they have received. It is also a time for the community of Catholic families to celebrate with them and show our support for them.
A light reception in St. Therese Hall will follow the Mass.
