It is with great sadness that Bishop David P. Talley and our Catholic Diocese of Memphis share the passing of Deacon Michael J. Gore.
Deacon Michael entered eternal life yesterday, Tuesday, July 4. He was ordained on March 4, 2000. Deacon Michael was an integral part of our Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1210 E Wood St., Paris, Tenn., for many years.
Please pray for the repose of Deacon Michael’s soul and for his family and friends. May God grant him eternal rest.
Arrangements are as follows:
— Visitation is tomorrow, Thursday, July 6, 5pm-7pm, at Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., with the Rosary beginning at 7:30pm.
— Funeral Mass is this Friday, July 7, 12pm (noon), at Holy Cross, with Father Martin Orjianioke, Father James Clark and Monsignor Victor Ciaramitaro officiating.
— Burial will be at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. A Chapel-side commitment service with Military Honors will be Monday, July 10, 9:30am.
