Peaceful and Prayerful
These peaceful and prayerful events precede the National Day of Prayer for the Protection of Unborn Children on Thursday, January 22, and the National March for Life in Washington, DC, on Friday, January 23.
Note: This Sunday is also known as Sanctity of Life Sunday, which is always the third Sunday in January, to commemorate the value of all human life, especially the unborn, tying into our Catholic belief that life is a sacred gift from God. This day originated with a 1984 presidential proclamation by then President Ronald Reagan.
