Immaculate Conception Cathedral School senior Angie Trinh has been named a 2019 recipient of the prestigious Clarence Day Scholarship at Rhodes College.
Based on academic achievement and involvement with the Memphis community, the highly selective award pays $35,000 toward enrollment costs at Rhodes and is awarded to just 10 incoming freshmen each year.
Recipients must demonstrate a passion for Memphis and a desire to continue making a difference in the city. Throughout their time at Rhodes, Day Scholars have opportunities to participate in campus and community events related to the Day Foundation and Memphis leadership initiatives.
