Knights of Columbus Install State Officers
The officers of the Tennessee Council of the Knights of Columbus were installed on Friday, July 20, in Memphis. The officers installed included: (from left), State Warden David Zwissler of Council 9317 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cordova, State Treasurer Bill Markiewicz of Council 4572 at St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Cleveland, Past State Deputy Tracy Staller of Council 12961 at Holy Family Church in Seymour, State Chaplain Msgr. Peter Buchignani of Memphis, State Deputy Mike McCusker of Council 9317 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cordova, State Secretary Fred Laufenberg of Council 16088 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Crossville, and State Advocate Eric Pelton of Council 8576 at St. Jude Church in Chattanooga. The newly installed officers were elected to their positions during the Knights’ State Convention held in the spring. The installation was held during the same weekend as the Kickoff Meeting for the year for councils in the Diocese of Memphis.
