Save-the-Date! On Saturday morning, April 27, Bishop David P. Talley and Bishop Emeritus J. Terry Steib will celebrate Holy Mass in the Chapel at our beautiful, 140-acre Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center at 10:30am. At the end of Mass, they will lead a procession to the renovated and restored Retreat House, which will be blessed and named in honor of Bishop Emeritus Steib.
Bishop Talley and our Diocese is very excited to name the Retreat House in honor of Bishop Emeritus Steib and recognize all he did as a Bishop to build the Retreat Center and foster an environment of spiritual growth at Our Lady Queen of Peace.
The Retreat House is open and available to be used by small retreat groups and families or as additional space for larger retreats at Our Lady Queen of Peace. The main building sleeps up to 48 guests (2 guests/room in its 24 rooms, each with a private shower and bathroom area). The 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom Retreat House adds space for an additional 12 guests bringing campus wide capacity to 60 overnight guests. In addition to the sleeping space, the Retreat House offers a private kitchen, den, living room, dining room, and screened in porch.
