All are invited! Our Diocese and the St. Martin de Porres National Shrine & Institute is hosting an MLK Interfaith Memorial Service at our beautiful and historic St. Patrick Catholic Church, 277 S. Fourth St., followed by a Walk to the National Civil Rights Museum, 450 Mulberry St., on Saturday, April 1, from 10am-12pm (noon). The Interfaith event will honor the social mission of the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Bishop David P. Talley will attend the Interfaith Service. The Keynote Speakers will be Bishop Phoebe A. Roaf, Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee, and Cortney Richardson, Executive Director of Peer Power. Music will be led by our St. Paul Catholic School Choir, our St. Augustine Catholic Church Choir and the Lemoyne-Owen Concert Choir. After the Service, around 11am, participants can walk together to the National Civil Rights Museum. The program will conclude at the Museum.
