New Co-Directors of the Office of Divine Worship

Early today, Bishop David P. Talley announced to all Priests within our Catholic Diocese of Memphis that Father Bruce Cinquegrani, Retired Priest, and Father Robert Szczechura, Pastor, St. Patrick Catholic Church, have been appointed Co-Directors of our Diocese’s Office of Divine Worship, effective immediately.
In their leadership roles, Father Bruce and Father Robert will collaborate in supporting the liturgical life of our Diocese, offering guidance and resources for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy, and assisting our clergy, 46 parishes, 13 schools, and many ministries in fostering prayerful and faithful worship.
Father Bruce has agreed to continue to Chair our Diocese’s Commission on the implementation of the new Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) and serve as a Board member of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions. He will also continue to assist Father Keith Stewart at St. Louis and work at Christian Brothers University.
Father Robert, a former Director of our Office of Divine Worship, has agreed to lead the day-to-day operations of the Ministry as Co-Director of the Office with Father Bruce, as well as manage our Diocese’s liturgical calendar. In this position, Father Robert will continue to service as the Pastor of St. Patrick.
Let’s join Bishop Talley in his prayers and gratitude to Father Bruce and Father Robert for their continued dedication and service to our Diocese and the Catholic Church. Let us pray for God’s blessings upon them as they undertake this important Ministry.
