Our Eucharistic Congress from the Air and Facebook Photos
Our first-ever Eucharistic Congress was a beautiful celebration in recognition of the 50th Anniversary of our Catholic Diocese of Memphis where we gathered together to bear witness to the Real Presence of our Lord in the Eucharist with a theme of That All May Be One (John 17:21). The mission was to make Catholics more aware that the Eucharistic is the source and summit of the Church’s life!
With that said, as part of our Eucharistic Congress, Saturday evening, Oct. 9, Bishop David P. Talley, along with other Bishops, Clergy, Religious and Community Members, celebrated Mass with a Eucharistic Procession and walked from the Renasant Center to the magnificent St. Peter Catholic Church where the Procession ended with Benediction on the steps of St. Peter. It was amazing—so sit back and click on the following link to enjoy our wonderful aerial view: ECAerialVideo. God is good, all the time and all the time, God is good!
Note: Many more Eucharistic Congress photos and a recording of the two days will be available next week on our ECWebpage. For now, many photos are on our CDOMFacebook. Please like them and share. ¡Adelante! Going forward together, on mission…that all may be one (John 17:21)!
