All are invited to our Red Mass, Friday, Sept. 30, Noon, at our beautiful and historic St. Peter Catholic Church. Bishop David P. Talley will be the Celebrant and Fr. James M. Clark, J.C.L., J.V., will be the Homilist. The Red Mass is celebrated annually for all in the Legal profession, which marks the opening of the Judicial Year. The Red Mass is historically for members of the judiciary including attorneys, legal assistants, all members of the legal profession, law students and students interested in law. During the Red Mass, Catholics reaffirm their commitment to justice and their faith. The name refers to the Red Vestments worn by the Celebrant(s) to signify the Holy Spirit. Participants pray for wisdom as they endeavor to seek justice. Please see and share the following flyer about our Red Mass: CDOMRedMass. All Praise to Our Lord!
