Saint Phillip the Apostle Church in Somerville Celebrates its 40th Anniversary
A blessed and terrific Sunday afternoon at the 40th Anniversary of our Memphis Diocese’s Saint Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church in Somerville. It was a packed and joyful outdoor Holy Mass with another beautiful Homily from Bishop Talley. Joining Bishop Talley and Fr. Robbie were former Pastors at St. Philip, Msgrs. Victor and Peter and Frs. Stephen and Bruce. Also, Deacon Bill Davis, former administrator at the Parish, participated in the Mass. All were recognized for their service at St. Philip. The Reception was also exceptional with great fellowship, delicious food and an excellent Aztec dance performance (as always). God bless our St. Philip Church and Parishioners!
