Sign-Up Today for Exciting SEARCH Retreat for Youth
SEARCH is a wonderful weekend experience in Christian living. It is designed to help young Christians develop and grow their relationship with God and others. These goals are reached in small groups, films, prayer and many more experiences. The great about SEARCH is that it is a program for youth that is made possible by youth leaders who help make the weekend happen. It provides a unique opportunity for young people to come to know God as God works through the words, actions and lives of their peers. Each SEARCH participant is able to gain a greater understanding of the meaning of Christianity in his/her own life and in the world through the thoughts of others their own age who have already begun to find insight and meaning.
Through our Diocese, SEARCH will take place April 9-11 at Compass Community School (formerly Memphis Catholic HS) for High School students in 11th-12th grade. We are limiting participation to 30 for social distancing. Any registrations past 30 will be placed on a waiting list. If the Retreat has to be cancelled due to an increase in COVID-19 cases or a student is sick or in quarantine, funds will be reimbursed. Also, to keep everyone safe, we will require all participants and team members to present a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the Retreat, do temperature checks at check-in and throughout the weekend, and check for COVID-19 symptoms. Wearing a mask will be a requirement.
