Begins on Father’s Day

This year, the event will run from Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, through Saturday, June 21. For 47 years now, the “Hole-In-One” Charity Festival has given all members of St. Louis the opportunity to get involved with their fellow parishioners. It’s a chance to meet new people, enjoy old friends, and be a part of the Catholic fellowship that is so important in an active parish life.

Volunteers are Great

If you have always wanted to “get involved” at St. Louis now is your chance. The parish needs several volunteers to help with the many duties that make up this event. There are plenty of positions presently in need of volunteers, including concession sales, golf ball sales, children’s rides, and tee box assistance. The “Hole-In-One” Charity Festival not only needs volunteers, but it also needs Sponsorships. It is the largest fundraiser at St. Louis for its youth ministry, athletic programs, and scouting programs, so consider recognizing your family or business with a sponsorship banner displayed in front of thousands of people. Attendance is Awesome

The St. Louis Festival wants to stress the importance of everyone’s involvement in this event. If you do not have time to volunteer or if you do not have the funds in your budget to give financial support, please support the event by attending. Every night of the tournament there will be delicious food specials from our expert Men’s Club cooking staff; and a chance to win money, prizes, and even a car from City Auto.

Family and Friends are Terrific

The event will have a Kid’s Golf contest on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm for the little ones. On Friday and Saturday nights there will be music, rides, and games for children of all ages. Also, on Saturday night the top ten winners of our week-long “Cardinal Cup” will have a chance to win $1 Million in our “Hole-in-One” Million Dollar Shootout.

Childcare is Outstanding

For the parents of young children who need a few hours to themselves, St. Louis will now offer childcare. They have designated a safe and secure area for parents to leave their potty-trained children (up through kindergarten) with responsible babysitters. The charge is $10 for two hours per child.
