Our Memphis Catholic Schools Office is excited to announce that Fourth Grade Student, Charlie Vaughan, from our exceptional St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, 2100 N Germantown Pkwy., Cordova, has been chosen as the “Super Student of the Month” for May. According to Superintendent Nic Antoine, there were many great choices across our outstanding and faith-filled Catholic Schools—but Charlie stood out among all nominees. Superintendent Antoine announced the Super Student award Wednesday, May 17, at a packed and excited Student Assembly after Mass in the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Gymnasium. Charlie was nominated by SFA Principal Alicia Brown who noted that Charlie exemplifies the academic commitment of a Super Student. He is a student whose leadership and creativity impacts the school and students in an extremely positive, like spearheading the creation of a favorite after school club, the Comic Book Club, at SFA—one of his many achievements. Many blessings to Charlie and all the amazing SFA students, faculty, clergy, religious and families. Go Timberwolves!
