Our Memphis Catholic Schools Office is excited to announce that Seventh Grade Student, Eli Copous, from our outstanding Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, 1669 Central Ave., has been chosen as the “Super Student of the Month” for February. According to Supt. Nic Antoine, similar to previous months, the choice was difficult with strong nominees from our exceptional and faith-filled Catholic Schools—but Eli stood out. Supt. Antoine announced the award to Eli yesterday morning, Feb. 28, at an All-Student Assembly in The Cathedral. Eli was nominated as a Super Student by ICCS Spanish and Religion Teacher Javiera Navarrete who noted Eli’s extraordinary service to the school, respectful manner and kindness to others. That’s an ICCS student! Also, since this past August, there have been seven Super Students announced across the Catholic Schools in our Diocese and Eli was the second student chosen from ICCS—our only Catholic School with two Super Students. ICCS Second Grader, Annaliese Fuchs, was named a Super Student this past Fall. Many blessings to all the amazing students, faculty, clergy and parents at ICCS.
