Beginning next week, all of us will hear from Bishop David P. Talley and other Diocese leaders in meetings, letters, videos and more about the Planning. In this act of stewardship, our Diocese will be asking three questions: 1. How are we living and serving the Lord as the Diocese of Memphis today (our successes, challenges and opportunities)? 2. Knowing the state of our Diocese in 2023, to prayerfully discern, through lots of listening sessions…what is the Lord asking of us going forward on mission? 3. Once we have discerned the Lord’s will together for the Church of West Tennessee, how do we go about following the will of God? What steps will we take in the here and now as faithful missionary disciples? Let’s pray for our Bishop as he leads all of us to be part of this renewal.
