The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a response to Christ’s prayer “That All May Be One” (John 17:21). It is an eight-day period of prayer in which all Christians are invited to participate from Jan. 18-Jan. 25. Let’s take a moment to hear from Bishop David P. Talley about the importance of this prayer week: https://vimeo.com/901933437?share=copy.
As Bishop Talley said, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is celebrated each year from Jan. 18-25. It begins on the Feast of the Confession of St. Peter and concludes on the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. The theme for the Week of Prayer in 2024 is: “You shall love the Lord your God…and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
