God is great! Our Catholic Diocese of Memphis has two new Priests, Fr. Scott Bahrke and Fr. Gabe Bouck. Solemn Vespers were celebrated on Friday, June 3. A beautiful and joy-filled Presbyteral Ordination for Fr. Bahrke and Fr. Bouck was celebrated at our Mother Church, The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Bishop David P. Talley was the Celebrant and Homilist with Bishop J. Terry Steib, Emeritus, SVD, and numerous Priests as Concelebrants. Also, many Deacons, Seminarians and Altar Servers assisted—and the music was amazing, as always. Please pray for our two new Priests.
Also, Fr. Bahrke had his first Thanksgiving Mass at our St. Brigid Catholic Church in Memphis on Saturday, June 4 and Fr. Bouck had his first Thanksgiving Mass at our St. Peter Catholic Church in Downtown Memphis on Sunday, June 5.
Effective July 1, Fr. Bahrke will be Parochial Vicar at our Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville and Fr. Bouck will be Parochial Vicar at our St. Paul Catholic Church in Memphis.
