St. Benedict at Auburndale High School senior Alexa Pangonas has been honored, with 26 other young women from Memphis-area high schools, as one of the Memphis Business Journal’s inaugural “Girls Who Mean Business.” This initiative by MBJ recognizes these young women for academics, service and extracurricular accomplishments and helps nurture their career aspirations, equip them with a mentor who is an empowered Memphis businesswoman and invest in their future as leaders. Alexa, nominated by SBA, met with her mentor and then received her formal recognition at the luncheon held March 26.
