Saturday, July 16, is The Solemnity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and all are invited to join the Carmelites for a special Holy Mass at our recently restored and magnificent Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 1324 Jefferson Ave., Memphis at 9:00 a.m. Carmelites have an 800-year-old Charism of Prayer. Specifically, the Carmelites would like everyone who wears the Brown Scapular and all who have an interest in Carmelite Spirituality to join them at the Holy Mass. A small Reception will follow Mass in the new and beautiful Park at Catholic Charities of West Tennessee across the street from Sacred Heart.
