The Emmaus Summer Institute is a professional development and faith-growth event for our Catholic Schools of Memphis teachers that took place for a couple days last week at our beautiful St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School.

Bishop David P. Talley, our Clergy, and Dr. Chris Fay, President, Catholic Schools of Memphis, are extremely grateful for the many teachers who dedicated part of their summer to growing professionally, strengthening their faith, and preparing to serve our students with excellence in the coming 2026-27 school year.

Thank you to everyone who helped make last week’s inaugural event such a great success. The commitment to Catholic education is an investment in every child who walks through the doors of our Catholic Schools of Memphis. Our Catholic Schools leaders look forward to seeing everyone again this week for an informative two-day Teacher Workshop on July 21-22 at our SBA Catholic High School.
