Yesterday, July 19, began the Natural Family Planning Awareness Week (July 19-25), which highlights the Anniversary of Pope Paul VI’s July 25, 1968, Encyclical, Humane Vitae, and beautifully articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, marriage, conjugal love, and responsible parenthood.

Natural Family Planning(NFP) Awareness Week is also an educational campaign throughout the Catholic Church in the United States to help couples to prayerfully discern and pursue responsible parenthood. NFP respects the dignity of the human person by protecting both the unitive and procreative aspects of intimacy.
