New Clergy Assignments
Effective Sunday, September 1, Bishop David P. Talley has given new assignments to the following Clergy:
St. Alphonsus, Ave Maria, and St. John, Brownsville
- Reverend Carlos Donato da Silva, J.C.L, currently Parochial Vicar at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cordova and a part-time Canonist with the Office of Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Administrator at St. Alphonsus Church in Covington, Ave Maria Mission in Ripley, and St. John Church in Brownsville.
- Reverend Patrick Hirtz, currently Pastor at Holy Angels Church in Dyersburg, remains in his current assignment while continuing his service as Sacramental Minister at Ave Maria.
St. Francis and St. Paul
- Reverend Christopher Rusin, currently Parochial Vicar at St. Paul Church in Memphis, is appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Our Clergy Personnel Board hopes to have a Parochial Vicar for St. Paul in place soon.
