Last week, Bishop David P. Talley informed all Priests in our Catholic Diocese of Memphis that Father Rito de Santiago-Carreon, Parochial Vicar, Ascension and Our Lady of Sorrows, has been granted early retirement from active ministry, effective October 1.
Father Rito has served our Diocese with faithfulness and pastoral care for the past 14 years. As he steps back from active ministry to focus on his needs as well as taking care of his aging mother in Mexico, please join Bishop Talley in thanking Father Rito for his priestly service, and let’s keep him in our prayers during this time of transition. May the Lord bless Father Rito with peace and strength.
