Excitement is Growing

Bishop Talley and our Clergy are very much looking forward to our ongoing 50th Anniversary celebration across our Diocese through our upcoming Eucharistic Congress, which will take place Friday, Oct. 8 (6pm-9pm) and Saturday, Oct. 9 (9am-6pm) at the Renasant Center, Downtown Memphis. The theme is: That All May Be One (John 17:21). It will be an amazing gathering of thousands of clergy, religious, laity, youth and many other community members to bear witness to the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharist.

International Event Now

Since this past Sunday, Sept. 5-Monday, Sept. 13, Clergy, Religious and Laity from five Continents are gathering in Budapest, Hungary, for the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress. EWTN’s coverage includes a closing Mass with Pope Francis, marking the first Congress to be visited by a Pontiff in 21 years. Our Eucharistic Congress

Our magnificent and free Eucharistic Congress will include wonderful Masses, faith-filled talks, prayer, confession, adoration and music. It will be a time of joy, prayer and unity—all centered around the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharist. On Oct. 9, join Bishop Talley and thousands for Mass with Eucharistic Procession. We will walk from the Renasant Center to St. Peter where we will end the Procession with Benediction on the steps of the church.
