Catholic Homeschool Mass and Co-op the First Wednesday at St. Theresa the Little Flower Parish
The Blessed Sacrament Homeschool Group is the Memphis area’s community of Catholic homeschooling families, including families from most parishes in the Memphis area and surrounding parts of Arkansas, Mississippi and West Tennessee.
The Homeschool Group invites any Catholic homeschooling families or parents with children younger than school age to its monthly Mass and cooperative activities. The group meets the first Wednesday of the month in September-December and February-May at St. Theresa the Little Flower Parish, 1644 Jackson Ave., Memphis, for the 8:15am Mass. The Mass is then followed by cooperative classes and liturgical celebrations including All Saints, Vocations Awareness Week, Advent, Candlemas, Lent and May Crowning.
Cooperative classes are available from toddler through high school and include Theology of the Body for children, virtue and saint studies, rosary and group adoration, lectio divina and in-depth Scripture study.
