Immaculate Conception Cathedral School senior Olivia Stonecipher has been awarded the Christian Brothers University Trustee Scholarship, the most prestigious academic scholarship the university offers.CBU academic counselor Olivia Betterton made the announcement on Friday, Feb. 8 following ICCS’s all-campus Mass in the Cathedral. A merit-based scholarship, the Trustee award benefits outstanding students for academic performance and covers full tuition and fees at the university.Olivia is the second Trustee Scholar from ICCS in three years; her sister Heidi Stonecipher accepted the award in 2017.
“I couldn’t be more proud or thrilled for Olivia and her family,” said ICCS principal Karen Gephart. “We will certainly miss her next year on our campus, but how wonderful for another ICCS graduate to be honored with this award from a Catholic university.”
