Our Lord invites us to return to the source and summit of our Faith—His Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Watch the following video to learn more about this exciting Revival journey and how we can all be a part of it: NERVideo.
Jesus is inviting you to go deeper. Draw close to him. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith—his Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist.
Beginning on Sunday, June 11, 2023, on the Feast of Corpus Christi, the second phase of the National Eucharistic Revival will foster eucharistic devotion at the Parish level, strengthening our liturgical life through eucharistic adoration, missions, resources, preaching and organic movements of the Holy Spirit. These local efforts will help convert hearts and minds to fall more deeply in love with our Lord truly present in the Holy Eucharist.
We are challenging each parish during the Parish Year to do four initiatives or one per quarter between Corpus Christi Sunday (June 11, 2023) and the National Eucharistic Congress (July 17, 2024, in Indianapolis, Ind.). The first initiative is a Eucharistic Procession on Corpus Christi Sunday, June 11, which is required of every parish. The other three initiatives are up to Pastors and parish leadership team to decide.
The Office of Evangelization and Faith Formation along with the Office of Communications, Office of Divine Worship and the Diocesan Steering Committee for the National Eucharistic Revival compiled a Parish Guidebook to help parish leaders plan for the upcoming “Parish Year of the National Eucharistic Revival.” In this guidebook, you will find background information about the National Eucharistic Revival as well as resources supporting your parish efforts in reinvigorating devotion to our Lord’s Presence in the Eucharist.
As for our Diocesan Year of the National Eucharistic Revival, below is a list of the many celebrations, events, material and more that our Diocese have done and/or are in the process of doing during this Diocesan Year.
