Dorothy Day started a movement responsible for supporting and housing the homeless. She spent 47 tireless years caring for the poor and leading the fight for a more active concern for the needy in our society. More than 200 organizations operate today following in her footsteps.

On November 15th, join the Dorothy Day House Memphis for a dramatic performance following Dorothy Day from her days as a 17 year-old Greenwich Village bohemian through her later years as a tireless champion of social justice. This one-woman play stars Lisa Wagner-Carollo of Still Point Theatre Collective, who masterfully captures the human and holy side of Dorothy Day.
