Ministry to the Sick Training

Our Diocese’s next “Ministry to the Sick” Training is Saturday morning, November 1, All Saints Day, from 10:30pm-12:30pm, at our beautiful St. Ann Catholic Church, 6529 Stage Rd., Bartlett.
Our Diocese’s exceptional MTS Training is designed to provide candidates with the basic tools that will be helpful in this very important Ministry for our Diocese.
As a trained Minister, candidates can bring compassion, communion, and become the sacramental presence of Christ for those who are sick or homebound.
Candidates are required to ask their Pastor for permission to attend the class. Once a candidate completes the registration, the Pastor will be sent an email to approve.
No registrations are accepted on the day of the training. Training space is limited. There is a nominal $15 fee. Here’s the link: https://cdom.org/schedule-events/.
If anyone has questions about the MTS Training, contact Sharon Kowalke in Pastoral Life at: 901-373-1234.
Note: Diocesan Eucharistic Ministry Training will be held at 1:30pm on the same day at St. Ann. These events are being held on the same day so candidates can be fully prepared to be involved with the Ministry to the Sick at their parish. Candidates can register for these events by going to our Diocese’s Website at: https://cdom.org/schedule-events/. Again, contact Sharon Kowalke with questions at: 901-373-1234.
