Starting Sept. 15, through Oct. 15, our Diocese is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures and extensive histories of the American Latino community across our parishes, missions and schools. Also, there are 22 Spanish-speaking countries in the world and Spanish is the second most-spoken language in the world after Mandarín. English is the third most spoken. Spanish-speaking countries are found in Europe, Central America, North America, South America and the Caribbean.
