March 29, 2019 – This year, 6th grade students at SFA have made by hand over 200 dog toys for area shelters and rescue groups. The dog toys are made from donated t-shirts that the students braid into chew toys for dogs of all sizes. The dog toys are being sent to the Bartlett Animal Shelter, Blue City Rescue, Big Fluffy Dog Rescue and several others. SFA’s patron, Saint Francis of Assisi would be proud of the work our 6th graders are doing.
