Cordova, Tennessee – February 8, 2019 – The St. Francis of Assisi Prayer Cross is a hand-made, wooden cross designed to hold the special intentions of our students, faculty, staff, administration and SFA families.

The idea behind the cross is simple – you write your special intention on a Post-It note. Next, say a prayer when you place your note on the cross.  All of the prayer intentions will be lifted up by everyone who passes by the Prayer Cross.  This inspirational gift was given to SFA by Mrs. Debbie Hobbs, grandmother of SFA students – Asher, Sara, Jacob, and Noah Fullen.  Father Carl Hood blessed the Prayer Cross at the closing Mass for Catholic Schools Week.  The SFA Prayer Cross is located by the school Chapel.
