St. Mary-Jackson Hosts an Exceptional and Faith-Filled Multicultural Festival Day

It was a fantastic Multicultural Festival this past Saturday, Sept. 11, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Jackson.

Many parishioners and other area community members gathered together to honor the more than 3,000 victims from 9/11, recognize our Memphis Diocese’s 50th Anniversary, showcase the beautiful cultures across our Catholic faith that included awesome music, dances and special performances and celebrate Bishop David Talley’s birthday.

Also, Bishop Emeritus Terry Steib, Fourth Bishop of Memphis, was at the Festival, along with Fr. David Graham, Pastor-St. Mary-Jackson and Dean of the Diocese’s South Eastern Deanery, Fr. Johnathan Perez, Associate Priest-St. Mary-Jackson, Fr. Richard Cortese, Associate Priest-St. Mary-Jackson, several joy-filled Deacons and the amazing Dominican Sisters. It was an exceptional and faith-filled day.
