Tell Me More About the Advent Wreath
During the Holidays, Nativity scenes and Christmas trees decorate most Catholic homes, but what about Advent Wreaths? Actually, for many Catholic families, the centerpiece of their Advent celebration is the Wreath.
The Advent Wreath consist of four candles surrounded by evergreen branches. The four candles represent the four weeks of Advent–three candles are purple and one is a rose color. The light of the candles signifies the light of Christ, Who will come into the world at Christmas, Dec. 25. God is great!
